Mellors resolves your catering frustrations

As a local contract caterer, Mellors can offer you all the benefits of the international contractors who dominate the market, whilst giving that local support and close knowledge. Our senior operations team (Tim / Mark) have grown the business from scratch starting in 1995. Therefore the people who sell you the contract are with you taking full responsibility for your catering success. To ensure the highest standards, we hold four weekly meetings with our clients and customers, reporting on agreed performance targets.

Mellors has set up our management systems to allow our on site Catering Manager to spend more time with the food and customers, with a majority of administration being completed by our head office accounts team. A Mellors Catering Manager should spend no more than 6 hours a week on administration.

“ Will my present catering staff be protected? ”

Mellors recognise full Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) requirements, protecting employees terms and conditions and length of service. All staff when transferred will be fully retrained on health and safety and food safety certification, and receive individual training plans based on a first month appraisal.

“ Will I lose control of my catering operation? ”
