Mellors has donated over 50 Easter eggs, along with activity workbooks and colouring pencils, to bring a little extra joy to the children and families at Derian House. Derian House provides care to more than 400 seriously ill children and young people across the North West, helping them make the most of every moment. With this in mind, Mellors wanted to spread some smiles and give these amazing kids a fun-filled Easter, packed with goodies that will surely put a smile on their faces. Mark Lyons, Mellors Operations Manager & Charity Champion, said “We’re all about making memorable Mellors moments, and Easter is the perfect time to show some love. We hope that these Easter eggs help bring a little bit of fun and laughter to the children and families at Derian House, because everyone deserves to have an eggstra special Easter!” This is part of Mellors Easter appeal, which saw their Support Office Staff and supplier partners including Dole and Kitchequip contribute over 50 eggs to Derian House. As school meal caterers across the North of England and Midlands, Mellors understands the importance of community and the impact a small gesture can have on brightening someone’s day. Derian House Children’s Hospice provides respite and end-of-life care to children and young people whose lives are too short. Offering 24-hour care, seven days a week, the hospice creates a safe and joyful space where families can make precious memories. With their incredible team, Derian House ensures that every child who comes through their doors makes the most of the time they have. This Easter, Mellors is proud to help Derian House continue their mission to fill the lives of these young people with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories—one Easter egg at a time!
