Staff at Mellors HQ donned green outfits from head to toe to raise awareness and show our commitment to mental wellbeing. This vibrant (and super green!) display was a reminder that we stand together in support of positive mental health! Supporting our team’s wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. Mellors continues to lead the way with forward-thinking mental health and wellness initiatives, always striving to develop, innovate, and improve our workplace culture. As part of the celebration, our support office teams enjoyed a variety of drinks and snacks—creating a relaxed space where colleagues could connect, chat, and take a well-earned breather from their day. We’re also thrilled to share that Mellors was recently honoured with a “Highly Commended” award in the Health and Wellness category at the Active Lancashires annual awards. This recognition highlights our dedication to promoting health, happiness, and wellness not just in the workplace, but at home too. Some of our standout wellness initiatives include: Wellness Walks to encourage movement during the day Step Challenges that promote friendly competition and healthier lifestyles Menopause Support Sessions, offering essential guidance and open discussions Family Fun Days to bring colleagues and their loved ones together Rest & Relaxation Week, giving support teams protected time to recharge & much more! And it doesn’t stop there. Throughout May, Mellors sites have been joining the cause with our “Boost Your Brain” themed event activities and featuring “Good Mood Menus” with nutrient-dense meals designed to fuel the brain and body. These menus are especially important during exam season, helping students build resilience by encouraging healthy eating habits, staying hydrated, and never skipping breakfast. Mental health matters every day, and we’re proud to be creating a culture where it’s okay to talk and support one another.
