Jenna Calderbank (HR Manager) guides Mellors though another audit to renew the treasured Investors in People Accreditation. This recognises how as a company, Mellors listen to their employees and help them develop to achieve their true potential. We recognise that by investing in our employees, we strive to provide a workplace where everybody feels valued and there is opportunity for growth.
This month, Mellors invested in 5 new area managers to support our continued company growth. We welcome Paula Bishop, Paula Stubbs, Adam Barber, Neil Broome and Dean Martin. All have a strong background in the contract catering world and the education sector and have already proven themselves to be real assets to the team.
Mellors has been shortlisted for Contract Caterer of the Year Award for 2018-19. Some of our management team will be attending the Awards Ceremony in London on behalf of Mellors and we will all have our fingers and toes crossed that we win on the night! Well done to all of our staff for your hard work and contribution towards the award. Without your support and dedication on a daily basis we would not have attained the reputation we have today.
Mellors finalised our head office move, half a mile down the M58 to West Lancs Technology Management Centre! Our new space offers a bright, open plan office for our Finance, Sales, HR, Payroll, Marketing and Operations teams and is where the behind the scenes magic happens. The move has facilitated the ability to work as one big Mellors team and the interdepartmental feel means help is always available.
