Together, we’ll explore a vibrant spectrum of fruits and vegetables, discovering fun and creative ways to get more of their 5 a day while building healthy habits that last well beyond January – all through the delicious and nutritious Mellors meals at lunchtimes. We’ve teamed up with Dole to make this theme day extra special. But it’s not just about tasting vegetables – it’s about giving children a powerful boost for mind and body: Boosted Mood & Focus – Did you know that regular consumption of fruit is linked to children having better mood and lower levels of anxiety? Fuelling up with colourful foods helps sustain energy and concentration throughout the day. Foodie Adventure – We’ll turn mealtimes from a struggle into an adventure! Our fun activities encourage kids to be brave eaters, trying new textures and colours and expanding their favourite food list. Immunity Supercharge – Each colour of the rainbow—from the vitamin C in red peppers to the antioxidants in blue berries—acts like a shield, giving their immune system the essential nutrients it needed to fight off winter bugs.
